New Installation -> not seeing anything in shares

Postby disciple19 » Wed Mar 30, 2011 7:48 pm

Hi Guys
new user here..

installed Fedora 14 and then Amahi

even as logged in as admin, when i check Shares, i have 0 files shared

3x1.5 TB mounted as /var/hda/files/drives/drive1 , 2 and 3

i ran chmod -R 775 /var/hda/files/drives/drivex for all drives
still no luck.
nothing shows up..
In shares, they are set as visible

any advice as to where i went wrong?

Can you explain more of what you are trying to do? What are you using for client and how are you trying to access the shares?

If they are mounted and you added them to the shares via dashboard, then they should be there. Sometimes Samba does not restart right away, so go to settings, servers, and restart Samba server.
