Proxy

Hi,

I currently have a Drobo FS plugged in to my Airport Extreme. This setup works pretty good for sharing my files over my lan. What I really want is a solution that can server as a PDC and provide proxy functionality. I see that Amahi can act as a PDC, but I'm not sure about the proxy part. I just want my family to login into the domain, access the files on the network, and track where my kids go on the internet. That's all I need for starters. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.

In order to use proxy, you would need to manually install software such as Squid. There is some guidance in the wiki, but it is a bit dated.

That might meet your needs. If you try and get it working, please let us know. If there are any updated needed to the wiki page, feel free to do so. We rely heavily on the user community to help with these sort of things.
