Hi folks
I've imported my music in jinzora on my hda.
But where I'm really stuck is getting the server to stream to a client.
I wanted to test this out from my win7 laptop at work, but haven't the foggiest about how to start browsing my music files at home.
their site say it can be done from vlc player or wmp but i can't see anywhete how to do this.
any help would be very appreciated...
regards

Re: jinzora noob question
Not sure I can be of much help, but did you see this in the wiki?
http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Jinzora
Also, I would think that you would be able to point the media player to your HDA and then see the music. I am sure there is a setting in VLC Player or WMP to accomplish this task.

Re: jinzora noob question
so are you saying that you just enter "???.yourhda.com" in as a url ???
Re: jinzora noob question
If you followed the wiki guidance for making it available outside the network, browsing to http://user.yourhda.com (user being your amahi.org HDA user ID) should bring it up. Now that is also dependent on you forwarding port 80 to your HDA IP on your router.
Hope I understood your question correctly.
