Try to install AMAHI on computer with AHCI enabled

Postby micro80 » Wed Feb 23, 2011 2:32 am

Hello
Does Amahi support AHCI enabled on the harddisk controller.
I have it now but get error/bug when install on the harddrive.
Not tried with ATA operation instead.

This is not an Amahi question. This is specific to Fedora and you should consider checking their web site or forums for hardware support.

For the record, I have no issues running Amahi on a Gigabyte GA-H55M-USB3 in AHCI mode with Fedora 14.

Previously, on Fedora 12, I had some quirks with the chipset drivers, however not AHCI specifically.
