Hello
as I write I have successfully installed AMAHI (on Fedora 12 x64) on an ATOM520.
Installation is active according to the control panel.
Despite this I am unable to connect to the server via any other browser BUT the server's.
At the moment my router is acting like a DHCP server.
Maybe I should deactivate the router's DHCP function?
Any ideas?
Cheers

Yes, per the installation instructions you are supposed to turn off the DHCP server on your router. Amahi will handle it all.
You will also need to refresh the DHCP lease on any clients after doing so for them to access Amahi Dashboard.

Re: Problems accessing AMAHI from client computers
cool, cheers
but how will amahi send out the correct dns servers?
Ok somehow that seemed to work... still I wonder how the dns servers get propagated.
EDIT:
hmm this is not working... the DHCP lease has disappeared from the AMAHI dashboard and the other client (that I set to static) is getting the IP from somewhere unknown.
Any ideas?

Re: Problems accessing AMAHI from client computers
Amahi is also the DNS server, so no worries.

Re: Problems accessing AMAHI from client computers
Need to ensure your router DHCP and DNS server (if it has one set manually) is turned off. If you release/renew the IP for the clients, it should get its reservation from Amahi.
If it does not, you may need to restart your network.
