Network config for dual NIC's

I have two NIC , one is for the internet, and the other for the home network.

etho config : (FOR WAN)

ip : 172.16.162.6
subnet : 255.255.255.0
gateway : 172.16.162.1

eth1 config : (FOR LAN)

ip : 192.168.0.1
subnet : 255.255.255.0
NO DEFAULT GATEWAY.

mY etho card is shared for internet access to other computers in LAN...

Please tell me how will i configure my network connections and online profile where default gateway and static ip is asked !

Right now Amahi can only work with eth0. That MUST be your nic for your Amahi clients, with eth1 being the nic for outside.

Suppose i use eth0 as per ur insbtructions, but is internet connection sharing available in Amahi as internet on eth1 will be shared by the clients connected at eth0?

As long as the default route is to eth1, it is SUPPOSE to work. There is also a firewall app (that I have not used) that can help protect things. I recommend you look into it.
