Did you enter the Amahi repository (http://f12.amahi.org)? This often means there is a connectivity issue with your install.

If you could provide more detail as to your install thus far, that might help us resolve this issue. For example, are you using the DVD for Fedora 12, using a hard wired machine for the HDA, etc.

Yes i tried several times always by adding http://f12.amahi.org repository with the other choices by default (but deselecting Office...), some other times by adding other repositories proposed in the list, one another by deselecting everything. Is there a Fedora 14 i could try ? as i see some interesting and upcoming software take this into account.

Ok, so i tried standard iso dvd, both i386 and x86_64 with the same result. I took them from here http://mirror.ovh.net/download.fedora.r ... 12/Fedora/

The last information i could give is that i proceeded the installation into a vm (kvm managed by proxmox to be precise). I usually have no problem whatever os i try to install on it, i also use on a daily basis production servers on it so the network work very well.

That is odd. Might wanna check out the following wiki page on VM installation:

http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Amahi_on_a_VM

Fedora 14 is still under developement/testing for Amahi. You can try it if you like, but there are no apps available:

http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Fedora_14

Hope this helps.

I had the same issue when Id set the DNS to be my Amahi server due to a previous build.

Once I reset the DHCP it was fine.

Ok, so i tried again but without success :)
For the VM i choosed 50GB storage, 1280mb ram but whatever NAT mode or not, Fedora i386 or not, dhcp or fixed ip adress... no way, that's the end of my first steps into Amahi :) as the goal were to use it into a vm and not just for testing.

Please tell me when you will be ready with Fedora 14 in order for me to test again :)
