Celebrity picture ;-)

Postby cpg » Mon Jan 10, 2011 1:46 pm

Yours truly had a chance to visit the TWiT studio at CES in Las Vegas yesterday and meet the famous Leo Laporte, radio personality from TWiT and many other radio and TV shows (and all around nice guy) in person, finally!
(We both live in the San Francisco Bay area, but we had never met in person)

Here is the picture ... http://bit.ly/cpg-and-leo

You may remember Leo from when they featured Amahi in their FLOSS weekly program back in March with Leo as one of the hosts: audio, video

Here is a quote from that picture moment: the nice fellow taking the picture asks, "would you like it horizontal or vertical" to which Leo snaps right back: "make it horizontal ... we're both wide" to a roaring laughter from the crowd. He's quick on his feet! :-)

Very nice!

Speaking of podcasts, has anyone considered doing one for Amahi? When I used WHS, I would listen to the Home Server Show. I could see a similar format being good for Amahi.

I think there is a clear need for that. A lot of things happen and we are so overloaded that we can't even communicate it effectively. We need a "this week in amahi" of sorts :)
