Hi,
Im a newbie at this, so please bear with me.
Im trying to install Amahi on my VM. During the installation, I never got the option to add repositories. Is there a way I can do this post install?
If not, is there another way that I can install Amahi on a VM? I looked through the wiki and Im still downloading the express CD, but in the mean time does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Cant add repository for VM
Re: Cant add repository for VM
Hello,
If you installed using the Fedora 12 Full DVD, then you had the option. It is done when you get the option to configure Fedora repositories.

The screen shot above is for Fedora 14, but it will look very similar. Select the "Add additional software" button and that is where you put the Amahi repo info as stated in the instructions.

Re: Cant add repository for VM
Thanks BigFoot65. Ill have to try it again. I guess it shows up when I select advanced setup instead of regular.
Incidentally, is there a way I can add it without doing a new install? Is there a unix command to add software repositories?
Thanks,

Yes you can add it without reinstalling. See this page:
http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Self-install-existing
Its alwayes best to reinstall, but you can try this and see if it works for ya.
