Postby lou1z » Mon Dec 20, 2010 1:35 pm

is it possible to have more than one hda at the same public ip but on different subnets?
and if i was going to create one now, would i be better going for f14?

Different subnets is easy. I do this all the time. But then what you do with them can get complicated.

it's not so much the different subnets & vlans i'm bothered about. its whether the hda setup can (the login part on the web where you get your install code) can do more than one hda for one public ip.

and the simple answer is yes.....
the naming defaults to "your account-2", "your account-3" etc
this time, i've also given it my AD domain name so i'll see how this goes as i plan on using centrify to see if i can get the hda & win2k server living in harmony together.

For what it is worth department,

I am one of the Amahi PDC users. I just replaced my 15 year old NT server with Amahi.

I always stayed away from thoughts of AD for my home...
