just installed amahi and when i go to http://hda
i enter my credential and all it says is "you must be logged in to access this area.
i verified i am using the proper username and password (i used them to login to fedora)
i even created a new user and password with no luck
any help would be appreciated

Hello,
Are you trying to login using the First Fedora user you created after install and not root? Also, can you describe the format of the user name and password you are using? Not the actual credentials you are using, but the length and how they are composed, i.e. spaces, special characters, length, etc.
I presume you checked the CAPS lock was not engaged. We have had some in the past that had not noticed it was on.

after the latest update all is well.
