0.7.5 update queston...

Postby jbmia » Mon Dec 13, 2010 11:10 am

Was a bit unclear about the blog posting earlier today...

If I have an existing install, will the 0.7.5 Greyhole update (MySQL) automatically update my existing install? Or,must I follow the instruction in the “transition an existing system…” link to take advantage of this function… I have 5 Tb’s I’m migrating right now and it is S-L-O-W…

Thanks.

You need to execute the migration script manually.
You can do so anytime, as long as you have Greyhole 0.7.5+ installed.
If you don't, here's how to force the update to 0.7.5:

Code: Select all

yum clean all; yum -y update hda-greyhole
(0.7.5 contains the migration script that you need to run, thus why it's a requirement for you to migrate.)
