Frustrated

Postby chashutch » Tue Dec 07, 2010 8:22 pm

I installed Amahi (FC12) yesterday and everything seemed to be working okay. Tonight, when I am installing a few apps (iCalendar) it seems to install fine BUT.. when I go to iCalendar (or http://hda for that matter), it takes me to an external web site. icalendar.home.com. The same if I click on the webvnc link, straight to webvnc.home.com (same site as the icalendar.home.com external site).

In order to get the HDA to come up, I have to put in the ip address. If I am at on the HDA machine, it seems to be okay but not when I try it from another PC (mac, iPad, WIndows Laptop)

what am I doing wrong?

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Hutch

Did you disable DHCP on your router? AMAHI takes over DHCP and DNS for the network.

The HDA must be DNS for the machine accessing the HDA web apps. (or you could work around it if you know how).
