I have added four users on the HDA using the system tool.
I can sign into the HDA (http://hda) using my own user id.
When I sign on to one userid, the first screen gives an error message about invalid user or password. The bottom of the screen shows that I am signed on as this user.
For the other two, I can sign on to the HDA as one of these userids directly on the HDA but cannot sign in from my laptop (http://hda).
I am puzzled by this. I don't recall setting up the one userid any different from the other two.
I am trying to get everything setup before rolling out to the other users.
Added users but can't sign in to hda

When you say system tool, do you mean linux or via the Amahi Dashboard User tab? All users must be added that way and not using the linux user tool.

That must be the explanation. Should I delete the users using the Linux function first?

I checked and the users are both in amahi and linux.
I went into Amahi and set the password for one of the users but still get incorrect user name or password.

I discovered that there is a limit of 12 characters for the password. I was typing in a longer password but not realizing that input had stopped.
I shortened the password and now is all is good.
