I have installed Webvnc and it works very well....and quickly, too. I was surprised at how fast the connection is made. It's funny to think about logging into my HDA to play solitaire on it for a change.
I'm also impressed with CrashPlan. It doesn't slow my pc down at all even though it's running in the background. But why can't I see the info CrashPlan has stored when I look at the HD?
Now, I want to know more about having the server re boot after a power outage. I've set the bios to "On after power outage" but how do I get the server to enter a password by itself? If I take out user passwords will that work? After all, it's only a home server and no one is going to break into it so it doesn't need passwords...right?
