I've so far been unsuccessful getting vpn to work to my hda. I've had hda up and running for about 1.5 years and never have gotten vpn to work. It just times out when a password is entered. I also notice that it shows stopped for my amahi status when I sign in to the amahi.org site even though my hda is fine. I did disable the hda from doing dhcp and configured it with a static address that is excluded from my router dhcp range. And the control panel on the amahi.org site shows the original ip I gave the hda box which is no longer the same. I am still able to successfully resolve my dynamic dns address. I just wish I could access it from outside of my home network. Is it dependent on my router dhcp being disabled? I would like to keep the current setup intact. Let me know if there are any file(s) that I can upload to make troubleshooting this easier.
Thanks
Mike

Re: VPN issues
This could be a result of not having port 1194 UDP forwarded on your router. Ensure you check the VPN troubleshooter in the wiki.

If that does not help, then we can examine further.
