Express CD Install - Freezes when running pre-installation

It may be the hardware is too old and not compatible. Have you tried the Full DVD?

Nope, I dont have a dvd drive on this computer.

Ok, my guess is its the hardware causing the issue...256MB memory is pushing it.

I am currently retrying with Amahi 5.4 (is that still the latest version?) and will post back if all works or doesn't.

I got exactly the same problem on a Piii 800Mhz with 384 RAM. It gets stuck on the running pre-installation scripts. Any ideas?

My thought we be insufficient memory. Fedora 12 and Amahi requires 512MB RAM.

I've tried the advanced installer an I get the following message:

I would say no. The express CD is about as small as you can get it.

No, I mean, forcing the install on a system with less than 512 RAM. Apparently the text installer is causing problems on anaconda installer:
