I installed an Amahi server and have the following questions (for which I have not found answers in this forum and/or the wiki)
1) The Amahi->Setup->Networking->DHCP page seems not to list any computer to whom once was issued a DHCP lease. Non_active DHCP leases (from exploring Amahi) seem to remain forever: How can I reset this list?
2) The Amahi->Setup->Networking->DHCP page does not list computers configured under static IPs. Presume this is not a bug and technically those computers do not need/get a DHCP lease. This then would be a pity because what I would like to see in this dashboard is at a glance who all connected devices?
3) It looks that my Amahi server started assigning addresses from 192.168.0.100 (default) upward, whereas my Netgear router started from 192.168.0.001. Is Amahi's choice by chance or based on best practices? Not that it is very important (I won't connect so many computers to my home network) but where & how & when is the default set differently?
There is a lot of DHCP discussion and it starts getting very difficult to read through the pages (even with help of search). It would be nice to have all essentials summed up in 1 page. DHCP is important, and as I have seen some choices are not reversible (or difficult) after the installation, e.g. hda assigned IP address. Ultimately, Amahi / ease of use / will be judged also on the quality of description.
Thanks,
fl

Re: (more) DHCP questions
The DHCP list will change over time....not sure how long, but have seen it change for me.I installed an Amahi server and have the following questions (for which I have not found answers in this forum and/or the wiki)

It does, but they are listed in the same tab that says "Static". No need to list them under DHCP as they are authorized DHCP automatically by design.2) The Amahi->Setup->Networking->DHCP page does not list computers configured under static IPs. Presume this is not a bug and technically those computers do not need/get a DHCP lease. This then would be a pity because what I would like to see in this dashboard is at a glance who all connected devices?

Amahi DHCP only assigns 100-255. Static is only up to 99. This is enforced through the platform.3) It looks that my Amahi server started assigning addresses from 192.168.0.100 (default) upward, whereas my Netgear router started from 192.168.0.001. If you would like to help us consolidate, that would be great. Please feel free to start a new wiki page for DHCP and we can incorporate it. You can access the wiki using your amahi.org credentials. Thanks,

Hope that clarifies your questions.
