I have Amahi 6 running on a standalone headless machine. I'm not currently using any advanced features but want to use Amahi Anywhere app with my phone. From my reading it seems i might need to move to Amahi 7 as the app doesn't show up when I go to the page with all the apps listed.
My question is there a wiki on how to upgrade 6 to 7 without loosing my shares or having to recreate them? I have googled but can't find instructions anywhere. I'm not a Linux user normally so need step by step simple instructions.
Everything I can find relates to upgrading with a Gui like Fedora but I don't run my system that way,it has no gui I originally installed with the command line.
Thanks in advance
Amahi 6 to 7
Re: Amahi 6 to 7
Sorry, there is no upgrade path for Amahi 6 to 7. You have to do a new install, then set up all your shares and apps.
