hello, this is my first post around here.
first of all, Amahi is a superb product and i'd like to utilize it as much as possible.
As usual, there is a question...
My 10 year old notebook is my new media server, thanks to amahi.
my home network has a modem, a tv and the notebook aka hda.
i want my hda to shutdown after its unplugged, maybe 5 minutes later.
i did some search and installed acpid but could not use it...
so, any advice ?
have a nice day.
how to shutdown hda after its unplugged ?

You can try the script in this article.

I doubt you will find anything that can sense the laptop being unplugged. Would make more sense to check the battery level and when it reaches a certain level, shut down the OS.
