Using Amahi on a laptop with lid shut

Postby chrissyboy » Sun May 11, 2014 3:06 am

Hi, I have installed Amahi HDA on an old Dell inspiron laptop [dual core, 64bit, 2.4GHz cpu, 2gig ram. 640GB hdd] It runs fine and I'm very happy with it but is there a way to use it with the lid shut and the screen off? I know I could disable the switch that tells it the lid is shut but the screen stays on. I know it's another option but I don't want to remove the screen either. Is there a script I could run that would do it?

Hello,

This is specific to the OS you use. Recommend you check the Fedora forums or the internet.

This is not something that is Amahi related.
