of course it would be nice to be able to put a link on the home page in amahi. Actually it would be nicer if the amahi version of sick beard still worked.
But that is another topic.
What I want to know if how to I make DNS entry that will me access to my customer sick beard install from say:
sickbeard.hda.lan
for instance I can type sabnzbd.hda.lan and get to sabnzbd which redirects to whatever crazy port number it has.
I need to setup the same thing for sick beard.

How do I add a URL to amahi
Re: How do I add a URL to amahi
You can add a manual web app then modify the .conf file to go to a different URL. Seems like a lot of work that can be done with a bookmark in the web browser.

/etc/httpd/conf.d is where all the web-app virtual host configuration files are stored. They start with a 4-digit number followed by the app short name, i.e. 1001-adminer.conf.
