After installing and moving my Amahi server to a new building I noticed the outside IP was incorrect. I ended up following the FAQ advice (Below) and deleting the profile on amahi.org and creating a new one. When I run hda-new-install it cannot find the file. I am logged in a root and I know Linux fairly well. Any advice? I'm about ready to wipe the server and start fresh...
Create a new profile in your control panel with the same settings, but with the new domain. This will give you a new install code.
In your HDA, bring up a terminal with root access (or ssh into your HDA if you do not have console).
Remove a file with this: rm /etc/sysconfig/amahi-hda
Run this command: hda-new-install -f NEWINSTALLCODE (replacing the NEWINSTALLCODE with your new install code you obtained above)
hda-new-install
Re: hda-new-install
For Amahi 7 hda-install is in /usr/bin directory. You may have to execute it from there.
If it were me and you have not changed/added much, I would just do a fresh install. It may take a lot longer to sort this out manually. Doing a second install may just make things worse.
