SOLVED: Greyhole not pooling to two drives

I may be having an issue with Greyhole where it's not pooling to 2 of 7 drives. I'm not sure why it isn't. I have my shares set up for 2 copies of each share, so it should be spreading copies of my files throughout the drives. It seems to be working on 5 of the drives, but the other two have nothing written to them. I am running Amahi 7.1 on Fedora 19 from the express disc, 64 bit.

Yeah, they are.

Not sure, but maybe the current drive algorithm never gets to those drives with only 2 copies. Remember 2 copies means only 1 copy plus the original.

Might try changing the number of copies or you can group drives you want files to be replicated to via the /etc/greyhole.conf file too.

I presume you are running the latest version of hda-greyhole. If not, you can update via command line by doing:

Okay, problem solved. Err, not really a problem actually....

The greyhole algorithm that determines where to put data is based on most available drive space. Drives 1 & 3 in my case are smaller drives/partitions. Drive 1 is the bulk of my boot drive, minus the space for boot & such. Drive 3 is another 1.5 TB drive. The other drives are all 2 TB drives, so drives 1 & 3 won't start accumulating data until the free space on drives 2, 4-7 is less than or equal to the space available on drives 1 or 3.
