Enable Advanced Settings.
https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Advanced_Settings

A Settings option will appear in the Network tab. You will find the DHCP and DNS server options there.

EDIT: BTW there is no server option for DHCP. It is only listed in the Networks Tab as mentioned above. It and DNS share the same service in Fedora 19.

Sorry for being a pain but i am a bit lost i did the Advanced_Settings thats why i see DNS Server / Apache Web Server / MySQL DB Server and File Server (Samba). Am i ment to see DHCP server as well or only DNS server ? as the HDA will not give out ip address ? had to turn the DHCP back on on the router :-( and i cant install the apps as the control panel says "Waining install" ?

You will only see DNS Server. The DHCP and DNS server share the same common service, so only 1 Server entry will appear in the Servers tab, DNS.

Did you do a refresh on your clients to obtain the DHCP lease. If it's Windows, from command prompt do:

Code: Select all

ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew
If it's another OS, there are similar commands to make it work. As long as DHCP is checked in the Network, Settings area it should be working.

If you are still having problems, recommend you try the Network Troubleshooter.
