Sickbeard 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable

Postby modem7 » Tue Apr 02, 2013 10:10 am

Hi Guys,

Over the past few days, I've been having issues accessing sickbeard. It's coming up with:

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
Apache/2.2.17 (Fedora) Server at sickbeard.home.com Port 80.

Below is the error log:

Tried service sickbeard reload, tried a reboot, no joy. Nothing has been changed as far as I know.

Any help would be great!

Thanks!

Did the app auto update? I have seen that break things in the past. Wonder if a reboot would help.

Very possible. But usually I have to click "update" when it says "you are 38459384 commits behind".

Already tried a reboot unfortunately :(

Might try uninstall and reinstall. Not sure what could be going on.

Reinstalled, seems to be working, however, my backup (that I made shortly before re-installing) doesn't seem to be applying (when I transfer it back).

I backed up:

cache folder
Logs folder
cache.db
config.ini
sickbeard.db
sickbeard.db.v0

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Probably need to stop the service. Verify the permissions and ownership of the original files. Copy your backup files and validate their permissions match. Then restart the service.
