Hi,
i have installed the VPN server and i can connect to it.
however, for some reason i keep getting an IP address of 10.8.0.X when my IP range at home is 192.168.1.X
i tried to disable the DHCP server so i will get an IP from my router but it remained the same (did a restart to be sure it is applied)
i tried giving a static IP using my MAC address and it still got the IP in the wrong range.
Anyone had encountered this before?
does anyone know how to solve this issue?
Thanks,
Shimon.
Wrong IP Address Assigned
Re: Wrong IP Address Assigned
When you VPN into a server, you get a 10.x.x.x series IP address. That is by design. If yo are having problems, recommend you check out the VPN troubleshooter.

VPN is typically only used for accessing your HDA from outside your network. No need for it while you are inside the network.
