Updating Greyhole on Ubuntu 12.04.1

Postby pacificsky » Thu Jan 03, 2013 12:53 pm

Hi,

I have Amahi installed on Ubuntu 12.04.1. The GreyHole version that comes with Amahi seems to be pretty old (0.9.22.1). I noticed there are newer versions of Greyhole on http://www.greyhole.net/releases/deb/.

The Greyhole updating guide at http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Greyhole_updating only has instructions for Fedora. I'm assuming Greyhole on Ubuntu uses the .deb packages, and not the hda-greyhole rpm packages. Is this correct?

Thanks!

You can download the Debian package and install as follows for 64-bit:

Code: Select all

wget http://www.greyhole.net/releases/deb/greyhole-0.9.26-4.amd64.deb sudo dpkg -i greyhole-0.9.26-4.amd64.deb
Same for 32-bit version, just replace the filename with the appropriate one.
