new user question about the AT&T Uverse gateway

Postby cpg » Tue Jun 16, 2009 6:57 pm

I haven't been able to get the HDA to access the internet through my ATT Uverse gateway. I have tried three different configurations. two with Fedora 9.5 and one with Fedora 10.

Nothing seems to work. When I turn on network services I can access the internet but not the HDA. In fact, with F10 I can't even get the HDA to start, even though the installation reports no errors.

Thanks,
anyone has good advice?
My HDA: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz on MSI board, 8GB RAM, 1TBx2+3TBx1

This.

You will need to put the router into DMZ mode that is pointing to your HDA server. Sometimes it can be tricky because it might not stay. If you are still not getting out, check the setting again because it may have defaulted back.
