Failures after install

After I managed to the installation sorted. First time I went to log on, I clicked my username at logon screen and the machine rebooted. Now I have tried to reboot a few times since and I cannot even get back to the logon screen, I just get a screen full of text.
Any help would be great, thanks

If you are experiencing reboots, then it could be a hardware compatibility problem. We need more details to be able to assist.
