sickbeard - email notification

have searched the internet and have found only requests for email notification from Sickbeard upon downloaded new episodes.

I dont want to use the sabnzbd option, because I also download a lot outside sickbeard and dont want to get notifications all the time. just when I get a new tv episode.

is there a way to achieve this?

I read something about a script option and writing your own script for this?

can somebody help me with a script like this?

One option would be to add code for sending an email to you in the SabToSickbeard.py script.
I really think this could/should/will be added to Sickbeard. A lot of new notification targets have been added to both Sickbeard and Couchpotato recently so I think it's only a matter of time.

In the meantime you could probably use Notifo to setup some notification that would work for you. A Growl notification to you mobile or something like that.
