Ok i have finally found recipe and it shows 25 recipes. But if i try to add one it doesnt show up still only 25. where does it go or how long does it take to show up? thanks

Should show up straight away ...

Note: REcipe is available as a new one-click installer ... I suggest you use that version (there were some problems with the older version during the switch-over to one-click installation.)

as gmw points out, the fact that you say "finally" may indicate you are installing it the old way (myapps) being deprecated.

  • does the counter increase to 26?
  • did you click on the "Create recipe" button? If you pressed "Enter", maybe the form does not submit properly with the browser you are using?
  • look in your Debug tab, at http://hda/setup?tab=debug for signs of errors. If you see errors please submit for debugging, indicating the context in the message (and many thanks)
as you probably know, this is a small demo app, so we will maintain it if bugs arise.

improving this demo app would be a great self-contained project for someone interested in dabbing into ruby on rails.
