New to Linux, networking Problem

Postby deCossatot » Sat Jul 16, 2011 11:33 pm

Hey, as the title says I am very new to Linux. I have been trying to figure it out only for a couple days not and I have run into a snag that I can't see to get around. I had my wired and wireless card working in Fedora but as soon as I install Amahi I was unable to connect to the interwebs. I read a lot about Amahi and have been trying to get it but haven't ironed eveything out yet. No web page will load and it says my Wired is active but not my wireless. I cant seem to activate it. I know this is sorta vague so anything that might help just tell me and I can try to do it. I have been looking at code/commands so if I am missing something let me know.

First time posting, won't be the last ;)

Thanks,
Coss

Amahi it not set up to handle multiple network interfaces. It might be doable with manual configuration, but you are on your own with that.

For networking problems, we always recommend the Network Troubleshooting guide on the wiki: http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Network_troubleshooting
