Is there any way to get this to aim at the \\hda\pictures? I looked into the admin page and didnt see it. If it is there i just over looked it. I saw where you can point to a url but hda is not a url to the gallery menu. thanks

alltighty, ... here's what we need.

we need some *small* php library whose interface would be something like this (this would be used in an app config or initialization):

require_once '/path/to/amahi/api/lib/init.php'; ... $pics = AmahiAPI::Media::getTag("pictures");

or something like that, so that if the tags for media content change, they get picked up automatically by the app.

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but just last night I put up an app named LinPHA which DOES automatically hook into //hda/pictures for album organization. Check it out at http://www.amahi.org/apps/linpha. It's in beta as of last night and this morning.
