New instal.. ATI Driver, display and other issues.. help...

After waiting for the delviery of motherboard for 3 long months.. it has finally arrived.. and I have now completed the pc build.. here is the pc spec.

I have installed F14 dvd and Amahi.. the functionality of Amahi looks ok.. but I have other problems..

A bit of background.. The pc is connected to Yamaha amp and inturn to Panasonic projector via HDMI... And I have installed XBMC as described in the wiki..

1. I have installed ATI drivers from RPMFusion but the display is not full screen.. there is about 20cm black border on all sides.
2. Whenever system reboots, the refresh frequency is reset to 30hz.. which flickers a lot.. If I change it to 60hz it looks ok..
3. I have added the xmbcuser as described in the wiki.. but it does not login to xbmc session.. waits for a second and comes back to gdm from login again..

Also cant get into BIOS menu when using hdmi.. if anyone using this MB please help..

Main problem.. most of the apps that I want are in Beta.. like vnc and others.. or apps like DLNA are paid only.. there is no trial at all.. what if I buy them and dont like them? And cant try the beta apps without paying 7.99 per month.. I am a bit disappointed both on fedora and amahi..

Recommend you check with the Fedora forums on your video card issue. One other option would be to install using the 3rd option I believe which is install system with basic video driver.

As for apps, beta apps are not ready for live obviously. There may be some that do not work at the moment. Best to ask on the state of the app before you purchase it if you are concerned. Send your request to support and one of us will be able to accommodate.

I have given up on the ATI drivers and bought myself an Asus Nvidia 210 graphics card.. the card worked out of the box.. nvidia drivers installed without issue.. no problems on display on projector even xbmc works.. though I have few more things needs clearing up.. so i will start a new post for this...
