Operate amahi server from local workstation
Operate amahi server from local workstation
Is there a way of operating an Amahi server from a local workstation as if you were running it directly from the server using win 7. The reason is that my network stations have better monitors, etc than the server and I would like to edit my photos that are stored on the server using Picasa as if picasa was installed on my win 7 workstation. I am running the win version of Picasa under wine on the Amahi server.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but take a look at VNC in the wiki.

There are Windows client apps to allow you to connect to the server in a window. Basically remote desktop access just like you are on the HDA. Personally, I use UltraVNC Viewer as a portable application.
