Thinking Python

I love Python and PyGTK, I have a few ideas I would like to try out for Amahi. Does any one have any experiences they would like to share or know of any pit falls before I embark on this route ?? :)

exactly what idea's do you have?
LANTEA: Amahi 7 (vm), HP Proliant Microserver, 8GB RAM, 2x 1TB HDD, 1GB eth
