What Size drives will Amahi support?

Postby schmarrap » Mon Dec 06, 2010 5:59 am

With WHS the biggest drive that it will support will be 2TB becuase of the legacy master boot record. I would like to know what size drive will be for Amahi?

I would anticipate the same, however this is not an Amahi restriction. It is based on what Fedora 12 will support. We are moving to Fedora 14 soon as well.

Recommend you check out the Fedora website at http://fedoraproject.org/.

The maximum size seems to be more bound by the filesystem you are going to use than by the disk size (I can't seem to find any relevant data on disk sizes).
Here is an exhaustive list of filesystems

For ext3 the maximum volume size is 2-32TB (depending on the parameters used)
For ext4 it's 1EB (Exabyte)
echo '16i[q]sa[ln0=aln100%Pln100/snlbx]sbA0D2173656C7572206968616D41snlbxq' | dc
