Shutdown headless Amahi computer?

Postby lalpert » Tue Jan 12, 2010 7:27 am

I'm running Amahi headless. How do I easily shut down the hda computer? I don't want to have to plug in a keyboard, video and mouse every time and I don't want to just power it off via the power switch.

or ssh into the box and issue the command "init 0" or "shutdown -h"
it's also possible that Fedora properly detects a power button press and issues the shutdown command from that action.

Thanks. My first time ssh and it went very smooth. Downloaded Putty and a minute later I shut down the server.
