That was the command I used earlier. I tried again. Unfortunately, Plex does not detect anything. So I tried you other suggestion of pointing to /var/hda/files/movies and it appears it is scanning correctly. So all seems solved. Perhaps Plex does not like symlinks? Anyhow, I'm still a bit concerned with having Plex point to /var/hda/files. Coming from xbmc which does write to the target,it's a bit scary.The command would be:Code: Select all

Ok, glad it's working. Not sure why Plex would write to the target unless its converting media. Might be worth doing some reading to determine if it does write.
Another option might be to modify the mount_shares_locally script for Greyhole. I noticed it sets the permissions to 770 for directories and 660 for files. That is the root cause of your issue, so changing that would correct it.
