Unable to Setup the Server

Postby txdiver78133 » Sun Dec 14, 2008 10:38 pm

Just install Amahi. I try to assign the ip 192.168.0.10. But when I do it does not connect to the internet. I have to use the DHCP to get an IP from my router. I am using Smoothwall for my router. I can not get to the Dashboard to setup Amahi or http://hda/ from the box or any other computer on my network. Did I miss something?

The system has to come up with the static IP address it has been configured with.

Alternatively, you can

- Assign a static IP address to the server (in your router configuration)
- Change /etc/resolv.conf to resolve to the Amahi hda's DNS server, i.e. to that IP of the server

You can also alternatively try

Code: Select all

hdactl-hup
Which will reset all services (including static address in the server, etc.).
My HDA: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz on MSI board, 8GB RAM, 1TBx2+3TBx1
