Can we get an update of the Qbittorrent app? The current version is working well, but I think it is about a year out of date. I'd be happy to test out a newer version.

Thanks!

Please submit a bug report.

Also we only update apps for the latest Amahi version which is 11 on Fedora 27.

BTW, if I am not mistaken, the version is from the Fedora repository. So doing an OS update will pull the latest supported release.

I have Amahi 11 so I should be all set there. I've never done an OS update. How does that work? Would it reset all the settings on all of my apps? Thanks!

I'll submit a bug report if needed.

To update the OS do:

Code: Select all

sudo dnf update
It doesn’t change any settings, only updates existing Software.

I ran "sudo dnf update" and it gave me a list of "install 4 packages" and "upgrade 236 packages." Qbittorrent doesn't seem to be on the list so I didn't proceed although it could be named something else on the list I suppose. Does this sound right? If you would like me to bring this over to the bug tracker, let me know.

If the app did not show up, then there is no Fedora update for it.

I would recommend you still do the update. There are several security patches that would be installed.

You can submit a bug report, but not much we can do if it's not updated in the Fedora 27 Repo.

Ok I'll just wait I guess. Bummer that it is so out of date.

Thanks for the help

Yea not sure why they don't keep it more updated.
