Hi
I have an issue with Amahi 11 and the dashboard.
I upgraded from 10 to 11 and as far I can see everything else is working but just the Dashboard.
Yes before anyone ask I did not remove the app that I have installed as it takes to long to get my server app setting put back again.
System info can be found here https://paste.fedoraproject.org/paste/a ... uWqO87e4qQ
I have also attached the platform-migration log.
I have updated every this and also clean up the gem installed files.
Any help would be great I'm holding of doing a clean install as this wipes out all the configuration that I have done.
I know it looks like I have done this myself but I would really like to get this back up and running.
Many Thanks
Matt

Re: failed upgrade 10 to 11 with apps installed.
Hi All
looking more into what I have done to cock this up and I can see that when I connect to the MariaDB using mysql command line it is not listing and database but when I use webmin I can see the hda_production listed so how do I get the HDA software to point to the right database.
I know this is my fault but I was just hoping to repair the upgrade and not reinstall.
Many Thanks
Matt

Re: failed upgrade 10 to 11 with apps installed.
Why did you not follow the instructions? It stated certain apps MUST be uninstalled.
We put that guidance in the wiki for a reason. Taking shortcuts often causes a reinstall from scratch.
The post here should help.
BTW upgrade may not work as expected. We recommend fresh install for that reason. The HDA OS Migration guide will be helpful in that case.

Hi Bigfoot
I'm sorry I did not follow the instructions, this is totally my fault but as I said I have too many apps to set up again if I removed them.
Many thanks for the points I will have a look.

Hi
I have tried that and it is still not working, where is the setting for passenger application so I can put this into debug mode.
Many Thanks

No idea.
That’s something the developer will need to answer.
Have you rebooted since uninstalling apps?

Re: failed upgrade 10 to 11 with apps installed.
You need to explain which folders you mean.I reboot and all the plug-in folders came back is this correct.
The only folders you should have deleted are named such as 1001-disks_info.
If you deleted any that look like 010-users, 020-shares, etc you likely have hosed your system. These are required for Amahi and the files inside them cannot be regenerated.
