CLOSED: Landing zone folder with a symlink.

Postby timjohn » Fri Aug 03, 2018 4:00 am

Hello everyone.

I'm trying to set up a symlink. I'm not having much luck!

The current landing zone is: /var/hda/files/backups
Which I would like to change to: /var/hda/files/drives/disk1

Many thanks in advance.

It's me again!
What I meant was, I actually attempted to set things up myself using Guillaume Boudreau's alternative instructions. Obviously I mucked up because my 3 drives were deemed to have 200 MB of storage when, in fact, they have 1.8TB each. Consequently, I've spent hours looking through the forum and online for a solution.
Any help would be much appreciated.

The Greyhole Landing Zone guidance might help.

There are instructions for moving it to a different drive.

Thanks bigfoot65. I've already been to that link previously. I'm still none the wiser!
All I'm trying to ascertain is if I've got this bit right: "The current landing zone is: /var/hda/files/backups
Which I would like to change to: /var/hda/files/drives/disk1"
I'm using Fedora 25 along with Amahi 10. Any more input would really help. Thanks again.

Did you follow guidance in option 2?

It pretty much tells you what to do.

Are we talking about the Greyhole landing zone link?
