hda-install installer cannot access network to retrieve files

Postby wuchyi » Sat Nov 04, 2017 6:51 pm

Hi, I'm trying to install Amahi on top of Fedora 25. However, at the step hda-install XXXX, i'm getting an error saying "cannot access network to retrieve files".

I suspect this is due to my network adapter being renamed to enp2s0 instead of eth0.

checking dmesg shows that it is in fact renamed from eth0 to enp2s0 by something running in the background.

How do i go about installing Amahi? I'm having trouble renaming the adapter.

Thanks!

The adapter name does not to be named eth0. This indicates the server does not have network connection.

Did the steps prior to this work? If so then there’s something going on with your network. Might want to start there first.

I presume you entered an install code versus XXXXXX.
