So IPSEC seems to be working fine. I can connect and disconnect from windows shrewsoft and ios clients.
I cannot ssh, vnc, smb, or anything through the vpn though. Not sure where to look.

How did you set this up, manually or with the ipsec-vpn App?
If it's the app, it's not working with Amahi 10 as indicated by the app status. Fedora 25 is RED for Alpha.

I did an upgrade from Amahi 9. It was already installed and working. I am looking for pointers on how to troubleshoot. Like I said I make the vpn connection fine and it stays connected. It just appears that there is no network traffic making it to the server.

You coul look at log files in /var/log for info.
Part of the upgrade instructions states to uninstall apps. It also says to verify that desired apps are available in the new version. We have limited support for upgrades.
The ipsec-vpn App is broken in #Amahi 10 as you have discovered. Not much we can do at the moment to help. Recommend you submit a bug report. Please provide details.
