SOLVED: Uninstall problems
I haven't been able to connect for a few days because of the certificate issues (I've read the other threads now). Yesterday, however I had not come here first, I just attempted to uninstall/reinstall the OpenVPN app. I clicked on the uninstall in the dashboard and it seemed to freeze on "Preparing to uninstall". I then tried to search the forums etc. but it was as if Amahi.org was offline. (even showed as down for everyone on downforeveryoneorjustme.com) After about 30 minutes it seemed to come back online. I attempted the uninstall again and amahi.org went dark again immediately. This happened 2 more times yesterday. It seemed like the site would come back online and then go dark the second I clicked on the OpenVPN uninstall button.
Re: Uninstall problems
Yes there has been some disturbance in the force and various #Amahi sites were unavailable for short periods throughout the day.
There is currently some additional issues with the main site, so you may want to wait a bit.

Re: Uninstall problems
Thanks.
Assuming everything gets back up and running soon.. will un/reinstall of the OpenVPN app fix the certificate issue yet? Or is that still in the works? I'm not clear on that based on the bug report.

Re: Uninstall problems
Still having problems.
Forgive my stupidity. I downloaded the client certificates form the bug page.
in windows it seems the old certs are in /Program Files/HDAConnect/config
The old ones seem to be named "homehda" and new ones are named "Amahi-Client-OpenVPN" Do I need to rename the new ones or just delete the old?
Also, I still can't uninstall the App from the dashboard. It just hangs on "preparing to uninstall". It seems that I can't install or uninstall any of the apps. Is this still on your end or am I missing something?

In future, download the certificates from the wiki. Those will always be the latest.I downloaded the client certificates form the bug page.
Keep it simple and rename the new files to match what the old ones were named. This saves having to update configuration files. The old ones seem to be named "homehda" and new ones are named "Amahi-Client-OpenVPN" Do I need to rename the new ones or just delete the old?
Not sure, it could be still issues with the #Amahi site. Try rebooting your server and then check the web site before you try to uninstall. Also ensure your browser cache is purged. Also, I still can't uninstall the App from the dashboard. It just hangs on "preparing to uninstall". Re: Uninstall problems
Tried restarting the HDA and clearing browser cache a few times. (used several browsers on 2 computers)
The main site seems to be up.
Can successfully install and uninstall another randomly chosen app (HDA Troubleshooting Tools)
**Update** Just tried to install another app at random (Maps) it failed to install
When I try to uninstall the OpenVPN it just hangs forever on "Preparing to Uninstall"

Re: Uninstall problems
Check bug 2210 for a solution.
