SOLVED: Unable to connect to f21.amahi.org

Just finished installing Fedora 21.

Trying to run this command

rpm -Uvh http://f21.amahi.org/noarch/hda-release-6.9.0-1.noarch.rpm

Per the install instructions on this page https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Fedora ... al_Install. I get this and never get a response.



I know I'm connected.

Currently running on a box running Hyper-V Server 2012 (not to be confused with Server 2012 RUNNING Hyper-V). I seem to be able to connect to the internet otherwise.

Any help is appreciated.

I have been stopped at the exact same place with a timeout error.

Have tried pinging the host f21.amahi.org as well and just get timeout errors.

Is the server down?

Not that I am aware.

Ensure you have network connectivity and try again.

Definitely not working. I'm offsite (at another customer's location) now and getting the same thing.

I just checked from home and see it's down.

Diagnosing now and hope to get it back up shortly.

Damn, I had this night for myself and fiqured I would reinstall the Amahi-server(the right way this time)...
Any progress in getting the server running again?

No estimated time though.

I'm having this same problem, although I can ping f21.amahi.org, when I try the rpm step, I get the following timeout error:

rpm -Uvh http://f21.amahi.org/noarch/hda-release-6.9.0-1.noarch.rpm Retrieving http://f21.amahi.org/noarch/hda-release-6.9.0-1.noarch.rpm curl: (7) Failed to connect to f21.amahi.org port 80: Connection timed out error: skipping http://f21.amahi.org/noarch/hda-release-6.9.0-1.noarch.rpm - transfer failed

I then tried https, and that did work, but when i did the next step of the installation

yum -y install hda-ctl hda-platform

The installation times out.

Any suggestions?
