Time keeps changing!

Postby AndyBel » Sun Nov 08, 2015 4:50 pm

Hi.

I'm just wondering if I've overlooked a setting on Fedora/Amahi 8 as my server's time is incorrect - it seems to be over an hour fast. I adjusted it to the correct time yesterday, yet it reverted back today! This means it is shutting down a hour early!

I've got the correct regional settings (UK) and daylight saving I think - does the HDA connect to a time server and is that providing incorrect info? I can't see a setting in the Dashboard.

Many thanks in advance.

Andy

No it does not do any time synchronization.

You might want to install the Network Time application. It will keep the time set on the HDA automatically.

Yes it is and that could be a sign that the BIOS battery needs replaced.

I have seen this happen in the past.
