SOLVED: VNC desktop
Hello i have amahi installed on fedora 19 and i use vnc and it works fine apart from being a little slow. On my desktop i use cinnamon but when vnc launches its gnome 3 i believe, so how can i change it to launch cinnamon or gnome classic.

Re: VNC desktop
i actually looked at the page that u linked so
To then make it use Cinnamon, all you have to do is create an executable bash script file named ~/.Xclients that contains the two lines
#!/bin/sh
exec /usr/bin/cinnamon-session
where do i put the script and does it auto execute on reboots or would i have to run it before running vnc?
or remove the vnc app and install tigervnc?
sorry i am a noob but love amahi sofar.

No need to uninstall VNC. It uses tigervnc already.or remove the vnc app and install tigervnc?

Re: VNC desktop
Hello and thanks for all your help. you can mark it solved. i was trying to install plex from their website but it seems to be conflicting with the amahi one. and i have purchased apps from the store but dont feel like i needed to bu plex so is there a way i can just install the one from their website?
Re: VNC desktop
never mind i searched for plex and came across the fix, what i would like is the is when the amahi web apps proxy will be avail for fedora 19
Re: VNC desktop
The app Amahi Web Apps Proxy needs work before it can be released. It is currently broken in Fedora 19.
Unfortunately I cannot give you an estimate as to when it will be worked. We have quite a list of things going on right now.
Have you considered following the hosting a website tutorial in the wiki? There are some options there to expose multiple apps outside your network.
